Clarify Your Habits + Pressures
You'll begin by unpacking the internal and external pressures that drive your pace. Whether it's perfectionism, people-pleasing, imposter syndrome, or over-scheduling, we'll look at how your current patterns support or sabotage your wellbeing. Your therapist will help you define what success looks like for you — beyond productivity.
Rebuild Your Routine for Energy + Focus
This phase focuses on practical, personalized strategies to restore your mental clarity and emotional bandwidth. You'll explore boundaries, rest rhythms, mindset tools, and energy management techniques designed for high-functioning individuals. The goal isn't to slow down — it's to move forward with greater intention, clarity, and capacity.
Integrate Self-Care into Long-Term Goals
Finally, your therapist will help you embed self-care into your lifestyle in ways that protect your progress and align with your goals. You'll leave with a clear strategy to maintain wellbeing while continuing to lead, create, perform, or care for others — without burning out along the way.
Meet Your Therapist
Self-care is crucial for both psychological and physical health, as it enables individuals to maintain balance in their lives. Prioritizing self-care helps reduce stress, enhances mood, and boosts emotional resilience, contributing to better mental health. Physically, it promotes overall well-being through healthy habits like regular exercise, nutritious eating, and adequate sleep. By nurturing both mind and body, self-care fosters a more fulfilling life, empowering individuals to cope with challenges and focus on achieving their goals.

Try a self-assessment.
The six individual self-assessments below are based on the Self-Care Assessment (Saakvitne, Pearlman, & Staff of TSI/CAAP, 1996). The assessments are not exhaustive. They are meant to be suggestive, and to guide your consideration of activities and behaviours to help you make self-care a priority in your life. You may choose to complete multiple assessments in this series to compare how you are doing in different areas of self-care. Use of the assessments is anonymous.
Always keep in mind that there are a variety of factors that can influence the reliability of the assessment, that your individual scores may vary over time, and, above all, that it is an assessment rather than a diagnostic tool. As such, this and similar self-guided assessments are not substitutes for professional guidance and should never be considered definitive.
